If you have suffered tooth loss but cannot afford bridges or dental implants, dentures may be the ideal solution for you!

Suitable for both partial and total tooth loss, dentures are the most swift and cost effective method for replacing missing teeth. There are two types of dentures:

  1. Full plastic base: this is a cheaper, more bulky appliance that is not as strong
  2. Metal-base: this is more expensive, but is thinner and therefore more comfortable to wear and is also stronger

One other advantage of partial dentures is if you are at risk of losing more teeth in future, they can be easily added to without the need for a new denture. The downside lies in your adaptability to having an appliance in your mouth that is removable and is not fixed to your teeth.  It does take a lot of getting used to if you have never worn one.
